Venison Sausage Casserole
This deer venison recipe is for a venison sausage casserole.
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds venison sausage
- 2 medium onions
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 quarts tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 tablespoon pepper
- 16 ounce box noodles
- grated cheese
Procedures:
In large skillet, brown venison sausage, onions, and flower.
Add green pepper, tomatoes, sugar, salt, and pepper. Simmer.
Boil and drain noodles.
Place noodles in greased baking dish.
Pour meat mixture on top of noodles. Mix.
Add grated cheese on top.
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for thirty minutes.
Venison Tamale Recipe
This recipe provides the ingredients and procedures for making venison tamale. The following is needed.
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds ground venison
- 1 large chopped onion
- 1 can chili green peppers
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 can Mexicorn
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 package noodles, cooked
- grated cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Procedures:
Brown venison and onion in skillet. Drain.
Add salt, pepper, chili powder, ketchup, tomato sauce, Mexicorn, Worcestershire sauce, and green peppers to meat.
Simmer for about twenty minutes.
Place mixture and cooked noodles in baking dish. Top with grated cheddar cheese.

Stuffed Venison Tenderloin Roast
This recipe is for making a stuffed venison tenderloin roast. The following is needed.
Ingredients:
- 3 pound venison tenderloin
- 1 chopped medium onion
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1 can sliced mushrooms (4 oz.) drained
- 2 cups soft bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1/8 teaspoon chopped parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- uncooked bacon
Procedures:
Melt butter in skillet over low heat.
Add onion, celery, and mushrooms. Saute’ until soft, about ten minutes.
Mix basil, salt,pepper, parsley, and bread crumbs in a bowl.
Add cooked vegetables and toss until well mixed.
Make a long length cut down center of tenderloin. Cut 3/4 of the way into the meat.
Stuff mixture into tenderloin pocket.
Wrap bacon strips around top of tenderloin using toothpicks to hold in place.
Put tenderloin in baking dish.
Cook uncovered for about one hour at 350 degrees.
Venison Burgandy Recipe
Today’s recipe is venison burgandy. You will need the following.
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds venison cubes (1.5 in. squares)
- 1/4 cup flour
- 4 carrots, chopped
- 2 medium onions, thinly sliced
- 2 celery sticks, thinly sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon thyme
- 1 cup Burgandy or dry red wine
- 1 can (26 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
Procedures:
Dip venison in flour and lightly brown in skillet.
Place in casserole dish.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cover and bake in oven at 325 degrees for 2.5 hours.
Stir every thirty minutes.
Venison Chops and Potatoes
Today’s recipe is for venison chops and potatoes. You will need the following.
Ingredients:
- 6 venison tenderloin steaks (1/2 in. thick)
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 6 potatoes, sliced
- 2 (10 oz.) cans cream of tomato soup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Procedures:
Using a casserole dish, alternate layers of onions and potatoes.
Season with salt and pepper.
Place venison steaks on top.
Mix tomato soup with one can of water, stir well.
Pour over casserole.
Cover and bake in oven at 325 degrees for 1.5 hours.
Uncover and bake additional 15 minutes.
Sweet and Sour Venison Recipe
This recipe is for sweet and sour venison. The following is needed.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 pounds boneless venison roast, sliced into 1/2 inch steaks
- flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1 (12 oz.) jar pure pineapple preserves
Procedures:
Coat meat with salt and pepper.
Coat meat with flour and brown in cooking oil.
Add barbecue sauce, vinegar, and water.
Cover and simmer for forty five minutes.
Add green peppers and pineapple preserves, continue cooking for fifteen more minutes.
Venison Stuffed Potatoes Recipe
This is a recipe for making venison stuffed potatoes. You will need the following.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 pounds ground venison
- 6 medium baking potatoes
- 2 small chopped onions
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chilies
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Procedures:
Bake potatoes in oven for one hour. Allow to cool.
While potatoes are cooling, brown the venison and onions on medium heat, drain.
Cut the cooled potatoes across the tops and scoop out potato pulp, leaving a thin shell.
Place the potato pulp in mixing bowl.
Add sour cream, chilies, butter,salt, garlic powder, chili powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
Stir in venison and onions, mix all ingredients thoroughly.
Stuff into potato shells. Sprinkle on cheese.
Bake in oven on ungreased baking sheet at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
Venison Lasagna Recipe
This is a recipe for venison lasagna. You will need the following:
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground venison
- 1 pound venison sausage
- 16 oz. cottage cheese
- 16 oz. ricotta cheese
- 1.5 pounds mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- 2 tablespoons oregano
- 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- 9 lasagna noodles
Procedures:
Brown venison and sausage in skillet, drain.
Add spaghetti sauce, oregano, and Italian seasoning.
Simmer for thirty minutes.
Mix cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
In deep baking dish, make several layers of meat mixture, noodles, and cheese.
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
Venison Spaghetti Casserole

Ingredients:
- 1.5 pounds ground venison
- 1 package spaghetti
- 1 jar (16 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 can tomato soup

This recipe is for venison beef stew. You will need the following ingredients:
- 3 pounds venison cubes
- 6 small potatoes
- 2 medium chopped onions
- 4 small sliced carrots
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 2 tablespoons of suger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons tapioca
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 2 cups water
Mix all ingredients and place in crockpot.
Cook on low for for 7-8 hours.
